Grupo Duelo Bronx Concert reviews
Frankie - Oh What A Night!
Being at Saturday's concert was a lifetime experience for me, as Grupo Duelo and the Four Seasons were on my 'bucket list.' The 'Sound Check' guy must have messed up somehow, as Grupo Duelo's microphone and the mike(s) for the trumpet section both had an overly 'tinny' sound. Despite this, Grupo Duelo was surprisingly energetic for a guy approaching his 80th birthday. He was very engaged with the audience and, at times, very funny. I felt he hasn't lost any of his passion for singing and entertaining. All the other band elements sounded fine. The show was great, except for the sound issues.
